WWE WrestleMania Backlash was a very, very good pay-per-view. Arguably one of the promotion's best since making their home in the ThunderDome during the Pandemic era.

The only questionable aspect of the show, at least for fans, was the use of zombies in the Lumberjack Match between Damian Priest and The Miz.

The 'undead horde' was utilised to help promote Zack Snyder's newest movie, 'Army Of The Dead', which stars soon-to-be WWE Hall Of Famer Batista.

It was reported by Ringside News over the weekend that WWE President Nick Khan spearheaded the deal from the promotion's end and was able to earn WWE a seven-figure payment from Warner Brothers for their sponsorship of the film.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has also corroborated the information, confirming with sources that Khan earned WWE more than $1 Million in having the zombies on the show.

While having zombies on their most recent show was a questionable decision, at least creatively, there's no denying that WWE did very well financially from it.
