Report: WWE's Vince McMahon Thinks The Coronavirus Pandemic Is "An Annoyance"

WWE is yet to test any staff or Superstars for COVID-19...

In the past couple of weeks, All Elite Wrestling and UFC have started to tape shows again in the United States. AEW is broadcasting a combination of live and taped programming from Daily's Place while UFC recently held UFC 249 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Both companies have introduced COVID-19 testing at their respective venues for all staff and competitors.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has not followed AEW's and UFC's example and is yet to introduce coronavirus testing at the Performance Center and Full Sail University. Meltzer also explained he was told that Vince McMahon finds the whole pandemic to be "an annoyance" because people keep placing restrictions upon WWE.

Meltzer said: "WWE has still yet to do, as far as I know, one test so far… As it was explained to me, Vince McMahon is not receptive to the outside world. He finds what's going on in the outside world to be an annoyance because it is getting in the way of his vision. He's got a vision and all these people are freakin' getting in his way of what he wants to do by not letting him run whatever."
