Matt Riddle Didn't Know WWE Had Announced The Brand-To-Brand Invitation, Would Like To Wrestle On The Main Roster

Could we see The King Of Bros on Raw and SmackDown soon...

On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre announced WWE has introduced a brand-to-brand invitation and he will be wrestling SmackDown Superstar King Corbin on next week's episode of the red brand.

No further details about the invitation were given, which means we could see NXT Superstars on the main roster in the near future unless WWE releases a set of rules.

Matt Riddle was asked about McIntyre's announcement during a recent interview with Ryan Satin at Pro Wrestling Sheet, and revealed he doesn't know anything about it because he hasn't watched this week's Raw. Despite this, he did say he would love to wrestle on the main roster in the near future.

The King Of Bros said: "Yeah, I would. You know what, I should have been watching the product last night. I had no idea. Yeah, that's a great idea. I hope I get a call soon and they let me wrestle up there a little bit. That would be fantastic."

He later added: "Definitely. Even in NXT, there's so many matches I haven't gotten yet. Same thing on the main roster. There's so many matchups with people, so many talented individuals. For me, I feel like the possibilities are endless. I just want an opportunity. I think I'm going to get it. Who knows?! I didn't even know about this [Brand to Brand Invitational]! That's a great idea."
