Report: WWE See Grayson Waller As A Future Main Eventer

Big things are set for Grayson Waller in WWE

It has been a busy old week for one of SmackDown’s newest names Grayson Waller, with the recently call-up star sharing the spotlight with two all-time legends in just seven days. At Money in the Bank in London, England, Waller came out to interrupt a returning John Cena, with the pair trading words in a promo segment which saw Waller get beaten up by the 16-time world champion.

On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, he came face to face with another former world champion in Edge. The Hall of Famer was a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect, which led to the pair wrestling in what was Waller’s debut match on the blue brand. Edge came out victorious, but made sure to offer some flowers to Waller after the match, showing the new name some respect.

It is no coincidence that Waller has been in the ring with the likes of Cena and Edge, as a report from WRKD Wrestling on Twitter has indicated that there are big things for him.

“If it wasn’t clear from his work with Cena at Money In The Bank or Edge on SmackDown, Grayson Waller is being set up for a big future. Many in creative feel that he has the tools, both wrestling and on the mic, to be a future main eventer for years to come.”

It isn’t clear what Waller’s next steps are on the main roster, though this report suggests that he will have some success sooner rather than later.  Cultaholic Wrestling has an account on Threads! You can follow us here. You can also follow us on Bluesky here.
