Report: WWE Talent Frustrated With Direction Of The Company

Morale possibly at an all-time low

While WWE talent were said to be frustrated with planning for both of 2022's Royal Rumble matches, primarily due to the sheer number of changes made to the Rumbles, a deeper frustration appears to have set in within the company.

According to Fightful Select, morale amongst talent is at least at a "decades-long low", if not an all-time low, and wrestlers within the company are discouraged, disappointed as well as frustrated with the direction of WWE.

The Royal Rumble, once again, was a particular cause of frustration with talent pointing to the lack of moments and storylines being showcased in the Rumbles. Another talent also noted that "nothing matters" beyond possibly four talents and several wrestlers pointed to continuity issues.

One wrestler even told Fightful: "If you see a complaint with merit and in good faith about something that lacks sense, logic or continuity, I almost guarantee we have complained too, it just never changes anything."

Frustration also appears to be felt towards those at the top of the company with one talent noting they have never felt "less heard" as their attempts to speak to Vince McMahon are ignored or rushed. The company will also do the opposite of talent's recommendations.

While WWE President Nick Khan has said the company aren't actively looking to sell, several talent that spoke to Fightful believe the organisation will eventually be sold, with one noting it's the only way they can comprehend recent decisions.
