Report: WWE To Debut Redesigned Title Belt On Tonight's Episode Of Raw

A major redesign...

Very little has been advertised for tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw but WWE has announced Bayley and Asuka will go one on one in a champion vs champion match.

Another segment on the show was revealed earlier today as WrestleVotes reported on Twitter that the new United States Championship belt will be presented to Apollo Crews tonight. Very little is known about the redesign, but the new strap reportedly has a clean but prestigious look.

WrestleVotes tweeted: "The long awaited debut of the new United States Championship Title will take place tonight on RAW. Source said the belt has a clean, yet prestigious look to it."

Reports over the past month have noted that the strap had been redesigned, but the company was waiting until enough replicas had been produced to unveil the title.

This will be the US Championship's first long-term redesign since it was introduced in 2003. The belt has received slight changes over the years as the new WWE logo was added in 2014, but it's only major redesign occurred after John Cena received a custom spinner strap in 2004 after he became a three-time United States Champion.
