Report: WWE To Make A Decision On Future Of Undisputed Tag Titles

WWE are set to make a decision on what to do with the Undisputed Tag Team Titles

For nearly a year, both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships have been unified as one, with The Usos becoming the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion after defeating RK-Bro. Since then, aside from one or two individual defences, both sets of belts have been defended as one.

At WrestleMania 39, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens won the Undisputed Tag Team Titles, though a change could be coming to their reign sometime soon. With the 2023 WWE draft getting announced and now being underway, something needs to be done about the status of the sets of titles. According to a report from WRKD Wrestling on twitter, there is a decision being made on the future of the tag team championships post brand split”.

There are no further details about what these decisions are, but it could indicate that either the titles will be split up, new titles will be introduced, or Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens will act as travelling champions from brand to brand. However,  it isn’t clear which of these scenarios, if any, will end up happening. It should be noted that as of right now, Zayn & Owens are included in the draft pool for Monday Night Raw.
