Report: WWE Want Von Wagner To Be A WrestleMania Main Eventer

There is a belief that Von Wagner could be a headliner if he develops more charisma

WWE officials have high hopes for NXT star Von Wagner, according to a recent report.

Discussing the 28-year-old during a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said: "He's tall, he's got blonde hair, they want him to main event WrestleMania, but you need charisma to get to that level".

It was reported back in September of 2021 that Vince McMahon saw Von Wagner as a future WrestleMania main-eventer.

Real name Cal Bloom, he is the son of Wayne Bloom, who most famously wrestled for WWE in the early '90s as Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers tag team.

Von Wagner made his televised debut on the September 14, 2021 edition of NXT, which was the show that saw NXT rebranded as 'NXT 2.0'. He had his first-ever professional match on a May 3, 2019 NXT live event.

Von Wagner made one main roster appearance, as the bodyguard for Adam Pearce, on the November 12, 2021 episode of SmackDown, before the angle was dropped.

His most recent appearance was a loss to Ilja Dragunov on the April 11 episode of NXT.
