All Elite Wrestling's September 4 edition of Dynamite went off the air with a major angle as Hangman Page quite literally burned down Swerve Strickland's childhood home, with Dynamite ending with Page enjoying a whiskey in an armchair surrounded by flames.

Fightful Select has reported that the segment had been planned for months and a small crew was used to burn the home to the ground. The house wasn't actually Swerve's childhood home but Strickland's new AEW deal was brought up on TV partly to play into him buying the house.

The storyline and segment were confidential to the point that several AEW wrestlers congratulated Swerve on buying the house and the former AEW World Champion maintained kayfabe and simply thanked them back.

Some have questioned why Hangman Page hasn't since been arrested for arson as part of the feud but there will reportedly be a storyline explanation for why Hangman is still a free man.

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland will go one-on-one in the main event of AEW All Out on Saturday, September 7. They will clash in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match.
