Pat McAfee with the WWE Championship

Pat McAfee promised a "MASSIVE SURPRISE" on the April 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and that surprise was revealed to be 25 per cent off WrestleMania Saturday tickets, with that night of Mania set to be main evented by Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship. McAfee will be in Orton's corner at WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported that since Friday morning, 1,265 tickets have moved for WrestleMania Saturday to increase tickets sold for night one to 40,610. With no McAfee discount and Pat actively telling fans not to attend that night, though, WrestleMania Sunday moved 1,452 tickets to increase tickets sold to 42,769.

Other WrestleMania discounts are already active across a number of methods, including with the promo codes 'CAESARS' and 'REBELS.' As of the time of writing, these promo codes reduce one-day tickets for WrestleMania 42 to $153.95. Two-day tickets are currently priced at $307.85 using the promo codes.

WrestleMania will take place at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium for the second year in a row, this time on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. Ticket sales have continued to lag behind WrestleMania 41, and sales were down 19 per cent compared to 2025's two-night event as of Friday, April 10.

The price of WrestleMania 42 tickets has been under heavy scrutiny for several months and WWE's top stars have even pushed for ticket prices to be dropped. Since the WWE-UFC merger in September 2023, the price of WWE tickets has doubled.
