It isn't just pro wrestling fans who are unhappy with the price of tickets for WWE events and the unhappiness seemingly extends to within the company.

BodySlam has reported that several top stars within WWE have pushed for the company to reduce ticket prices as the talents believe die-hard fans are being priced out of attending WWE shows. WWE and parent company TKO are also "very aware" of social media discourse around the price of WWE tickets, especially heading into WrestleMania 42.

It is unknown which top stars pushed for the change, but Randy Orton previously called ticket prices for 2025's WrestleMania 41 "embarrassing", while CM Punk called for TKO CEO Ari Emanuel to lower ticket prices on the April 6, 2026 episode of Raw.

WWE ticket prices have been under scrutiny for months, particularly WrestleMania 42 tickets. The cheapest one-day ticket for WrestleMania was initially $266 but prices were as high as $46,000 for a two-day ticket to sit in the second row. Prices have since slightly fallen, though, and WWE have been running constant promotions over the past several weeks to boost ticket sales, although sales for WrestleMania 42 are still 18.8 per cent down on WrestleMania 41 at the same point in 2025.

WWE ticket prices have doubled since the completion of the WWE-UFC merger under TKO, rising from an average of $52 between 2020 and 2023 to $118 in 2025. That may not last, though, as reports today have noted that WWE are looking to lower ticket prices through the summer.
