Rey Fenix Returns On AEW Dynamite

Rey Fenix is back!

After three months out of action, Rey Fenix returned on Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On the show, The House Of Black were initially set to unmask Fuego Del Sol but a cloaked figure with a shovel suddenly appeared in the centre of the ring, distracting them.

Brody King, Malakai Black, and Buddy Matthews immediately advanced to the squared circle, believing it to be Alex Abrahantes, but the manager, Penta Oscuro, and PAC suddenly appeared at the top of the ramp.

This left House Of Black wondering who exactly was behind them and the figure quietly removed their cloak, revealing themselves to be Rey Fenix before the former AEW World Tag Team Champion tried to take out Black, King, and Matthews with the shovel. Black and King managed to retreat to the floor, only to be taken out by PAC and Penta while Fenix levelled Matthews inside the ring.

Death Triangle then stood tall following stereo dives to the floor before they celebrated Fenix's return inside the squared circle.

Fenix had been out of action since early January when he suffered a nasty arm injury following a Chokeslam from the apron through a table from Luchasaurus. It was initially feared that Fenix had broken his arm but the former AAA Mega Champion revealed soon after that he only sustained a dislocation.
