It has been several months since any new footage of the AEW console game has been revealed but that is set to change soon.

AEW Games recently announced on Twitter they will hold a console game sneak peek on the AEW Games Twitch channel next week on Wednesday, May 4 at 11 am ET.

What exactly will be revealed in the sneak peek remains to be seen. The last reveal featured gameplay footage of Jungle Boy and Darby Allin.

Recent reports have noted the console game is provisionally scheduled to be released in September of this year, with Tony Khan recently confirming the title will be AEW Fight Forever.

Kenny Omega, who has been heavily involved with the game's development with YUKE'S, also recently noted he was hopeful Fight Forever would be released in 2022.

The AEW console game has been in development since the summer of 2020 and the game is inspired by the likes of WWF No Mercy, King Of Colosseum, and Virtual Pro Wrestling.
