Rey Fenix Still Not Cleared For AEW In-Ring Return

Rey Fenix still not able to make his AEW return

Former rivals will rekindle their issues on tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite from Ontario, California but one talent in Rey Fenix won't be in action.

AEW CEO Tony Khan has announced The Young Bucks will face Penta El Zero Miedo and Komander on Dynamite. The original plan was for the match to feature Rey Fenix in the latest clash of The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Bros but Khan noted AEW doctors have yet to clear Fenix for an in-ring return which led to Komander being drafted in.

The match takes place ahead of The Young Bucks taking on Elite faction mate Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho at Full Gear on Saturday, November 18.

Rey Fenix has been out of action since early October when he dropped the AEW International Championship to Orange Cassidy. The Lucha Brother has been dealing with the recurrence of an old injury that has kept him sidelined

Other matches announced for tonight's Dynamite include the Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi, and Paul Wight vs. Brian Cage and The Don Callis Family's Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Kyle Fletcher.
