Rey Mysterio's Return, Bayley Vs. Dakota Kai Announced For Next Week's SmackDown
WWE have announced multiple matches for SmackDown next week
Next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee is set to continue the Road To WrestleMania with some big matches announced for the card, and a potential “Rock” Concert too.
Bayley’s pursuit of the WWE Women’s Championship and her feud with Damage CTRL will continue, as she goes one-on-one with the woman who betrayed her last week, Dakota Kai. This will mark Kai’s first singles match in WWE since April 2023, with her being ruled out of action for the better part of a year.
Additionally, Rey Mysterio will return to action after several months away from the ring on next week’s SmackDown, though no opponent has been announced. Mysterio’s return to WWE programming recently saw him target Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma after Escobar turned heel and attacked him in November.
The Rock & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown next week too, and a report from WrestleVotes has suggested that Memphis, Tennessee might see a return of “The Rock Concert”, which has lit up WWE more than one time in the past.
