Rhea Ripley Heading To WWE Raw Brand

The former NXT Women's champ is on her way

On Monday's edition of WWE Raw, a video package aired, hyping the forthcoming arrival of NXT star and former brand Women's champion Rhea Ripley.

The package closed with the words: "Rhea Ripley - Coming Soon, WWE Raw"

An exact date for Ripley's first appearance as an official member of the Raw brand is not known.

One year ago, Ripley made appearances on Monday Night Raw in the run-up to WrestleMania 36. At the time, Ripley was NXT Women's champion, and was defending against Raw brand star Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. She went on to lose the belt to Flair at the event, before reverting back to NXT.

In that time, Ripley officially wrestled one time on Raw, defeating Sarah Logan in a short match on February 10 of last year.

Ripley last wrestled in NXT on January 6, losing a "Last Woman Standing" match to Raquel Gonzalez.

Since then, she made an appearance in this year's women's Royal Rumble match. After entering at number 14 and lasting over 40 minutes, Ripley finished second to Bianca Belair.
