Rhea Ripley and The Undertaker on WWE Raw

Rhea Ripley is Women's World Champion once again, having defeated Liv Morgan at Monday Night Raw's premiere on Netflix from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

Liv Morgan dominated much of the match and she went for a second Oblivion, only to be caught by Rhea Ripley. The challenger then followed up with a second and third Riptide for the clean win.

Post-match, Dominik Mysterio tried to reunite with Ripley but she hit him with a Low Blow and Riptide. The Undertaker then returned to WWE, drove around on his motorcycle, and posed with Ripley to endorse the new Women's World Champion.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan had been feuding for the past nine months since Morgan legitimately injured Ripley on the April 8, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw. Ripley was forced to vacate the Women’s Word Title as a result of the injury and Morgan ended up capturing the belt from Becky Lynch during Ripley’s absence.

Ripley returned in July but she failed to regain the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam and Bad Blood, with the SummerSlam loss to Morgan coming after Dominik Mysterio left Ripley for Liv Morgan. Ripley did pick up wins over Morgan, though, with her team winning inside WarGames at Survivor Series in November which set the stage for the rematch on January 6.
