The Rock Announced For WWE NXT New Year's Evil

The Rock isn't back with WWE for just one night, with Dwayne Johnson revealing during an Instagram Live following his return on the Raw Netflix Premiere that he would be at Tuesday's New Year's Evil episode of NXT.

How much The Rock will be involved at New Year's Evil is unknown. The Rock's daughter, Ava, is the General Manager of NXT. She appeared alongside Dwayne Johnson at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

WWE NXT New Year's Evil will emanate from the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on January 7.

The Rock's appearance on Monday Night Raw seemingly confirmed he won't be in action at WrestleMania 41 as the 'Brahma Bull' appeared to wrap up his issues with Cody Rhodes. The Rock also acknowledged Roman Reigns as the Tribal Chief, placing the ula fala over Reigns' head following his win over Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat.
