Hulk Hogan Appears On WWE Raw Netflix Premiere, Receives Loud Boos

Hulk Hogan made his return to WWE TV during the Raw Netflix premiere and the WWE Hall of Famer remains unpopular with much of the company's audience as he was booed out of the Intuit Dome on January 6.

Hogan made a brief appearance on Raw alongside a US flag-waving Jimmy Hart. The boos immediately filled the arena as Hogan appeared on the entrance ramp and they only grew louder after Hogan tried to put over the fans.

Hogan then discussed his Real American Beer as the boos continued and he received some more boos when he claimed Netflix was the greatest tag team partner of all time above Randy Savage and Andre the Giant. Hogan then ripped his shirt to reveal a WWE-Netflix t-shirt while receiving more boos.

Monday night was Hogan’s first in-person appearance on WWE TV since January 2023 when he opened Raw is XXX with Jimmy Hart. Hogan hadn’t appeared on WWE programming at all since a January 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw when he was part of a pre-taped video package to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the birth of Hulkamania. 

Hogan’s appearance came only hours after it was announced that WWE and Hogan’s Real American Beer had agreed to a multi-year partnership. The partnership saw WWE become a minority owner of Real American Beer and the beer company’s branding will be featured on the Monday Night Raw ring mat.

Hulk Hogan has become a controversial figure over the past 10 years since audio of him using the N-word multiple times to describe his daughter Brooke’s then-boyfriend leaked in 2015. Hogan also made a racist remark about Kamala Harris in 2024 ahead of the United States presidential election and Hogan has twice been pictured with neo-Nazis during Real American Beer meet-and-greet events. 

Hogan has been closely linked to Donald Trump over the past several months and the 71-year-old wore a 'Maga Powers' t-shirt while disembarking a plane ahead of his Raw appearance on Monday.
