WWE Becomes Minority Owner Of Hulk Hogan's 'Real American Beer', Branding To Be Featured On Raw Ring Mat
WWE now part-owns a beer company
Jan 6, 2025
WWE and Hulk Hogan's Real American Beer have agreed to a multi-year partnership that sees WWE become part owners of the beer company. Real American Beer branding will be featured on the corners of the WWE ring mat for Monday Night Raw going forward.
Short-form content for Real American Beer will also be distributed on WWE's social media channels and WWE trademarks and wrestlers can be used to try and sell Real American Beer on in-store materials and promotional displays.
"Well, let me tell you something brother! From the first time I stepped into the ring, I've always fought for something bigger than myself. I'm thrilled to bring Real American Beer into the ring with WWE. Together, we’re bringing that pride to America, one beer, one match at a time, brother!" Hogan said about the new WWE partnership.
Real American Beer launched in June 2024 and is available in 20 states in the US. The brand hasn't escaped controversy since its launch, though, and Hulk Hogan's company was accused of firing a brand ambassador because they were black in the Summer of 2024. The company denied the allegations.
Hulk Hogan has promoted the beer through meet-and-greets across the United States. Hogan made a racist remark about Vice President Kamala Harris at a meet-and-greet ahead of the 2024 US presidential election and the WWE Hall of Famer has twice been pictured with neo-Nazis at Real American Beer meet-and-greet events.
A partnership between Real American Beer and WWE was expected to be announced after a photo of a potential new WWE ring mat was posted on social media that featured a number of logos, including Real American Beer, Fortnite, and Snickers.
Hogan is reportedly scheduled to return to WWE TV during tonight's Raw premiere on Netflix. It will be his first in-person appearance on WWE programming in two years.
