Hulk Hogan's Real American Beer Denies Recent Firing Was Racially Motivated

Denial issued over claims a recent firing was carried out by Hulk Hogan due to a woman being black

Real American Beer, the beer brand co-founded by Hulk Hogan, has denied a brand ambassador was fired for being black.

Social media influencer Essence Jenai claimed on TikTok that she was fired because Hulk Hogan "realized you were a BLACK brand ambassador."

Jenai wrote: "@Hulk Hogan thanks for making it clear that you don't work with BLACK brand ambassadors."

She then added: "POV: Hulk Hogan paid you to be a brand ambassador and canceled your contract the next day because he realized you were a BLACK brand ambassador."

Jenai also shared an alleged text message exchange, during which she was allegedly told that all promotional events had been cancelled by Real American Beer. She then shared an image of three non-black women participating in a promotional event after she had received the text message.

Real American Beer has responded to the TikTok videos, denying that Hulk Hogan was involved in Jenai's firing. They also claimed her being let go was not racially motivated.

"We are deeply troubled by the false rumor circulating on social media that a brand ambassador hired by a third-party marketing agency was terminated by Hulk Hogan for racial reasons. Real American Beer simply terminated its short-term relationship with the third-party marketing agency. Hulk Hogan was not involved in that decision, and race was not a factor. We are in communication with the agency in an attempt to clear the misunderstanding and incorrect information, and believe that this false statement will be withdrawn," a spokesperson for Real American Beer said.

Hulk Hogan has a history of past racist comments, including using the N-word multiple times to describe his daughter Brooke's then-boyfriend. Hogan's comments were leaked in 2015 and WWE severed their ties with Hulk Hogan until 2018.
