New Sponsored WWE Ring Mat Potentially Debuting Soon

In 2024, PRIME became the very first ring sponsor in WWE history, and upon WWE’s move to Netflix, it looks as though the ring will be scattered with even more sponsors. 

Prior to this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, an image emerged on social media showcasing a brand new black ring mat across the WWE ring, showcasing a sea of different sponsors. The logo for video game Fortnite was the largest and in the centre, where WWE usually has the PRIME sponsor. Along with this, there were logos for Cricket, Snickers, Real American Beer (Hulk Hogan’s own brand) and Netflix. The ring mat was not used for the first of WWE’s three-hour Friday Night SmackDown, though it might be used upon RAW’s debut on Netflix.  

Fightful Select have stated that there is no confirmation that this was the new ring mat for Monday Night RAW, however it was ‘intimated’ that this would be the case. This comes following SmackDown where a brand new blue ring mat was spread across the ring, very different from the white mat that has been used in WWE for many years.
