John Cena Returns On WWE Raw Netflix Premiere, Declares For The Royal Rumble

The likely winner of the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble was revealed on Monday Night Raw and his name is John Cena.

Cena made his return to WWE during the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. After putting over his history in Los Angeles, Cena addressed people wanting him to become a 17-time world champion. Cena told fans he was going to be honest and that he didn't see himself achieving the accolade since he hasn't won a singles match since 2018.

Cena noted it would take a miracle for him to get back to a title match...like winning the Royal Rumble. Following this light bulb moment, Cena declared himself for the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble and announced he would win the match on February 1.

Cena will be a part of WWE throughout 2025 for his retirement tour, with the 16-time world champion set to retire at the end of the year. WWE have big plans for Cena for 2025 and he is scheduled to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
