Ric Flair: AEW's Kenny Omega Is One Of The Best Wrestlers Today
Flair stood across from Omega last weekend
Ric Flair has hyped All Elite Wrestling' Kenny Omega as one of the very best wrestlers on the planet today.
Flair, who was released by WWE in early August, stood across from Omega at AAA TripleMania XXIX last weekend as he accompanied future son-in-law Andrade to the ring for his AAA Mega Championship match against The Belt Collector.
Having seen first hand just how good the AEW star is, and how passionate Omega is about the wrestling business, The Nature Boy knows that Omega is one of the best around.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Flair said: "I’ve only met Kenny Omega a couple of times, but he’s one of the best. You can tell very quickly he is so damn good and full of passion. He and Andrade really put on a show. And it was so much fun.
"I think people were surprised to see me put on the figure-four, but that’s something I’ll never forget. I could do that any time of day."
