Ric Flair Says He And Bret Hart Are 'Like Best Friends'

The two former rivals have buried the hatchet in recent times

Things have not always been so civil between wrestling legends Ric Flair and Bret Hart. In the past, they have traded shots and sought to insult one another, typically about wrestling style or perceived drawing ability.

These days, however, it seems The Nature Boy and The Hitman are on much better terms.

Speaking on a recent edition of his To Be The Man podcast, Flair shed some light on his current relationship with Hart after the two met up at an autograph signing in Texas last weekend.

"I took a picture and I was just thinking to myself, 'We used to call each other everything in the world for 30 years. Now, we're like best friends and that's the way it should be'.

"The business makes us all a d*** at one time or another. Now with social media, it makes it even worse. You just look back and regret the things you said or even thought about because at the end of the day, what did you gain by it? A moment of satisfaction? I mean, it's just ridiculous. I had a great time with Bret this weekend"

Both Bret Hart and Ric Flair are two-time WWE Hall of Famers and considered two of the greatest professional wrestlers of all-time. Bret was sitting ringside for Ric's last match on July 31.

Hart beat Flair to win his first WWE Title on October 12, 1992.
