Ric Flair Separates From Wendy Barlow

Ric Flair has announced that he and his wife, Wendy Barlow, have decided to separate. The Nature Boy tweeted yesterday, explaining:

"Wendy and I enjoyed 13 great years. As with every couple, we have experienced our ups and downs. I think it's important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to part ways respectfully. I'll never be able to thank her enough for standing by my side through my terrible health crisis in 2017. She never left my side! And for that I will always be grateful! We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work. I wish her the best of luck with her projects, and I know that she supports mine!"

Flair and Barlow announced their engagement in 2016 and were married in 2018.

In terms of wrestling involvement, Flair appeared in AEW towards the end of 2023 and into 2024, although he hasn't been seen recently. This was part of a partnership between AEW and Flair's Wooooo! Energy drink brand, which appears to be over now.

Flair was involved in Sting's retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024, and was at one point attacked by the Young Bucks. The bout ultimately saw Sting and Darby Allin defeat the Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
