Ricky Starks Advances To AEW World Title Eliminator Final

Will meet Ethan Page on Wednesday

Ricky Starks advances to the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament, where he will face Ethan Page on this Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.

Starks defeated Brian Cage in the semifinal round during Saturday's Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show. Starks managed to hit Cage with a Canadian Destroyer before finishing with the Roshambo.

Starks just defeated Lance Archer in the quarterfinal round on Friday's live Rampage.

Page's path to the finals saw him defeat Eddie Kingston in the quarterfinal round, before defeating Bandido in the semis.

The winner of Wednesday's match receives a World title match at Winter is Coming on December 14 in Dallas, against either Jon Moxley or MJF.

This is the third year AEW has run an Eliminator tournament. Kenny Omega won the 2020 tourney, defeating Adam Page in the finals. Omega went on to win the AEW World title from Moxley at the 2020 Winter is Coming.

Bryan Danielson won the 2021 tournament, ousting Miro in the final. Danielson went on to face Page for the World title, going to a one hour draw.
