Ricky Starks Challenging Ricky Steamboat To AEW All Out Match

Ricky Starks wants Ricky Steamboat at AEW All Out

Ricky Starks got himself into hot water on the August 5 edition of AEW Collision after beating down wrestling icon Ricky Steamboat and whipping him with a belt, and it seems Starks is still angry with ‘The Dragon’.

Steamboat felt Starks’ ire after ‘Absolute’ lost to ‘Real’ AEW World Champion CM Punk, with Steamboat on hand as the outside enforcer for the match. Despite being suspended for his actions, Starks has remained unapologetic, and it was announced on Twitter/X that the former FTW Champion will be on Collision on September 2 to formally challenge Steamboat to a Strap Match at AEW All Out on September 3.

If Steamboat accepts Starks’ challenge, then it will be the first match for the 70-year-old former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion since wrestling a retirement match in November 2022.

Updated line-up for AEW Collision, September 2, 2023:

  • Ricky Starks to challenge Ricky Steamboat to All Out Strap Match
  • Dax Harwood vs. Jay White
  • The Acclaimed & Billy Gun (c) vs. Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, & Angelo Parker - AEW World Trios Championships
  • Saraya, Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
