After his shock debut on February 11 the question is what’s next for Ricky Starks in WWE NXT? Well it seems as though Starks could be heading to Vengeance Day.
Starks made the jump to NXT mere days after his exit from All Elite Wrestling, and whilst it’s unknown what his intentions or indeed his name are in NXT, it looks as though we could get some insight at Vengeance Day on February 15, with PWInsider relaying that a planned Starks appearance at a Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling show on the same night has been cancelled.
The debut of ‘Absolute’ on NXT TV was seemingly a very last-minute thing, with it reported that his inclusion into the show was a last-second call, with Starks entering the building just before NXT went live on Tuesday night. The former FTW Champion got a huge pop upon appearing in the NXT crowd, although neither he nor the NXT commentary team ever used the name 'Ricky Starks', despite the crowd chanting it ferociously.
Starks isn’t the only former AEW star to jump ship to NXT, with Ethan Page and Lexis King (fka Brian Pillman Jr.) having made the jump to NXT from AEW over the past two years.
