ROH Announce Survival Of The Fittest First Round Matches
The tournament returns for the first time since 2018
Ring Of Honor recently announced that the Survival Of The Fittest tournament was set to take place for the first time since 2018, and have now revealed the first round matches for the competition.
Taking place across June on ROH TV, the winners of the first round matches will be entered into a multi-wrestler elimination match, with the victor being declared Survival Of The Fittest 2021 winner, and receiving an ROH World Title shot at a later date.
The first round was revealed on ROH’s Week By Week YouTube show, with the tournament itself a fan favourite. Previous winners of the tournament include Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black, Jay Lethal, and Adam Cole amongst others.
There is no word yet on when the Survival Of The Fittest winner will receive their title shot, with the title currently held by Rush.
