ROH Announce TV Title Eliminator Tournament For Death Before Dishonor Title Shot

A Title Eliminator Tournament for a ROH World TV Title shot at Death Before Dishonor has been announced

With a little over a week until Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2023, ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe finds himself without an opponent, with the ‘Samoan Submission Machine’ recently focused on the AEW Owen hart Foundation Tournament.

Ahead of the PPV, Ring of Honor announced that a short four man Title Eliminator Tournament will take place on ROH TV on Honorclub, with the winner facing Joe at Death Before Dishonor.

As seen on the July 13 edition of ROH TV, the two semi-final matches took place, and the finalists will square off next week for a shot at Joe.

In semi-final one, former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle defeated Tony Nese with a Bangarang, whilst in semi-final two Shane Taylor put away ‘The Captain’ Shawn Dean, with Taylor looking to regain the title he lost in December 2019.

Samoa Joe is currently in the midst of his first reign with the World TV Title, defeating Minoru Suzuki for the strap over 450 days ago on an episode of AEW Dynamite in April 2022.
