ROH Champion Dealing With Visa Issues

Visa issues affecting ROH Champion’s bookings

A champion in Ring of Honor has been conspicuous by their recent absence from ROH and AEW TV, with their absence down to visa issues.

After wrestling Chris Jericho on the January 31 edition of AEW Dynamite, ROH World Television Champion Kyle Fletcher has not been seen on TV, with Fightful Select confirming that visa issues are to blame.

AEW are believed to be very happy with Fletcher’s work, with the Australian tag specialist allegedly set for a feud with Ethan Page over the title before the visa issues reared their head.

Fletcher and tag partner Mark Davis have been featured heavily across ROH and AEW TV since officially joining the organisation in Summer 2023, with Aussie Open wrestling at All In 2023 on the pre-show mere months after being signed to full-time deals.

With Davis on the shelf, Fletcher has pivoted into a singles role, winning the ROH TV Title at Final Battle in December 2023. Aussie Open’s long-time associate Will Ospreay is set to begin his full-time run in AEW on February 28, and it remains to be seen if the unit will be paired up again on AEW and ROH TV when all three are able to compete.
