Ring of Honor have announced that the site for their upcoming Death Before Dishonor PPV is to be changed due to a COVID surge in Florida.

Originally set to be held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida, on Sunday September 12, ROH are now understood to be exploring different options for the show.

In a statement put out on their official Twitter feed, ROH announced:

“Due to the recent COVID surge in Florida, ROH is moving the site of the Death Before Dishonor Pay Per View event. Details to follow shortly. Your safety, health and well-being remain our top priorities. Thank you for your continued patronage. #ROHDBD”

Death Before Dishonor was slated to be ROH’s third PPV with fans since the COVID Pandemic first spread in early 2020. ROH returned to live crowds last month with Best in the World live from Baltimore, Maryland, an event that saw RUSH drop the ROH World Title to Bandido in the main event.

ROH’s next super show will be the two night Glory By Honor XVIII, scheduled to take place in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia (the classic ECW Arena).
