ROH Pure Title Match Announced For Death Before Dishonor

ROH’s Death Before Dishonor 2023 PPV is fast approaching, with the show taking place on July 21 next week. With less than a week until the show, there was some online concern over the fact that very few matches have been announced for the card. Last night, more was officially confirmed for the PPV, including a ROH Pure Championship match.
At last night’s ROH tapings (spoilers follow) the ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata confronted Daniel Garcia after his match. ROH didn’t wait for their show to air before officially announcing that this match would be taking place. The pair have been feuding for months, with their bad blood even spilling onto AEW programming as they both challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship.
The current card for the show looks like this;
- Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. TBA - ROH World Championship
- Samoa Joe (c) vs. Dalton Castle - ROH World TV Championship
- Athena (c) vs. Willow Nightingale - ROH Women’s World Championship
- Katsuyori Shibata (c) vs. Daniel Garcia - ROH Pure Championship
