Royal Rampage To Return To AEW Next Week
AEW have announced the return of the Royal Rampage
Last year following the Blood & Guts edition of AEW Dynamite, the taping of Rampage featured a unique gimmick match - the Royal Rampage. This match saw both rings utilised for a battle royal. Each ring fills up with 10 participants each, with the conventional over-the-top rope ruling used for elimination. Once a victor has been decided in either ring, the two last remaining names face off to decide a decisive winner.
It has been announced that the Royal Rampage will be returning again for this year, with some competitors already announced for the occasion. During this week’s edition of Rampage, the likes of Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy, Ethan Page, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal revealed that they would be in the match.
Last year, the House of Black’s Brody King was the last man standing, throwing out Darby Allin to earn himself a shot at the AEW World Championship. It hasn’t yet been announced if this year’s winner will score the same prize.
