One of Ring of Honor’s top stars is set to miss several weeks of action due to injury.
Inaugural ROH Women’s World TV Champion Billie Starkz was set to wrestle for indie promotion Limitless Wrestling in Maine on August 17, but has since been pulled from the show, with Limitless announcing that Starkz is unable to compete due to injury.
A report from F4WOnline suggests that AEW management made the decision to pull Starkz from the show, and whilst no details as to Starkz’s injury have been released, AEW expect a lay-off of at least several weeks as they assess and monitor the situation.
Starkz last wrestled during the July 28 ROH TV on HonorClub tapings, teaming with mentor Athena to defeat Queen Aminata and Red Velvet in tag action. Starkz dropped the TV Title to Red Velvet two days prior at Death Before Dishonor 2024.
The 19-year-old has been part of ROH since March 2023, having previously made her All Elite Wrestling debut in December 2022 mere weeks after turning 18.
In ROH, Starkz has been aligned with ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, with Starkz serving as one of Athena’s ‘minions’ alongside backstage interviewer Lexy Nair.
