Roman Reigns continues to make history in WWE and the 37-year-old has passed 700 days as Universal Champion.

Reigns acknowledged the accomplishment on Twitter, writing: "For over 700 days, you've sat at MY table and enjoyed MY body of work. It's not over, I'm not finished, but if you've waited until this point to do so… #AcknowledgeME."

The Tribal Chief has been WWE's top star since he returned from hiatus at SummerSlam 2020 and he would capture the Universal Championship only one week later, defeating The Fiend and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match at Payback. Since then, Reigns has defended the blue belt against the likes of Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, and John Cena.

Reigns made history again earlier this year at WrestleMania 38, defeating Brock Lesnar in a title unification match to win the WWE Championship. Now, Reigns is the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and he will defend the gold next against Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle on September 3.
