Roman Reigns Comments On Vince McMahon Retirement

Roman Reigns addresses Vince McMahon's retirement

Roman Reigns has given his thoughts on Vince McMahon's retirement.

McMahon announced his retirement as WWE Chairman and CEO on Friday, July 22, with a Wall Street Journal report noting the 76-year-old's departure was hastened by federal prosecutors and the SEC beginning their investigations into hush payments made by McMahon to suppress infidelity and sexual misconduct allegations.

The wrestling world has reacted to McMahon's retirement over the past week and Roman Reigns had his say on the situation while he stopped to sign autographs after his appearance on The Today show.

"I wish him nothing but luck and happiness in his future. He's been great to me and my family," Reigns told YouTuber RainmakerNYC

Reigns and McMahon were close in WWE and the 76-year-old booked The Tribal Chief as the company's top star, particularly since he turned heel in August of 2020.

Since Vince's retirement, his daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have been installed as Co-CEOs, while Triple H is the new head of creative.
