Roman Reigns Hopes WWE SummerSlam Is The Last Time He Faces Brock Lesnar

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will face each other one more time at WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns is hoping WWE live up to their billing and his Last Man Standing Match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam on July 30 is the final time they face off inside the squared circle.

"I hope it's the last time. It hurts. It's brutal being in the ring with Brock. He's a big ol' country boy and has such a great, legitimate background. He started as an amateur wrestler, all the way through the collegiate ranks, into the UFC, heavyweight champion. He's dominated WWE for a long time. The only problem he has is Roman Reigns showed up and took over. It's going to be great," Reigns said on TODAY.

July 30 will be Reigns and Lesnar's seventh singles match in WWE since they first met in the main event of WrestleMania 31 back in 2015. They rekindled their issues following Lesnar's return at SummerSlam 2021 and Reigns has won their two encounters since then at Crown Jewel and WrestleMania 38.

WWE have billed the Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title as their final bout but if that will actually be the case remains to be seen.
