Roman Reigns Scheduled For Another Upcoming WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns on more than one SmackDown in a row?!

Roman Reigns will be working two tapings of Friday Night SmackDown in a row.

Reigns is scheduled to appear on tonight's episode of SmackDown from Tulsa, Oklahoma, which will be his first appearance on the blue brand since before WrestleMania 40. This won't be Reigns' only appearance in the coming weeks, though, and the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is being advertised locally for the August 16 episode from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, according to PWInsider. Reigns is also listed as one of the featured superstars for the taping on WWE.com along with Cody Rhodes, Bayley, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Kevin Owens.

If Reigns is planned for WWE Bash in Berlin is unknown but he is also being advertised for the first episode of SmackDown on the USA Network on September 13 in Seattle, Washington. SmackDown will move to USA following five years on Fox.

Reigns made his return to WWE programming at SummerSlam, taking out Solo Sikoa in the main event of the show which helped Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Title. Solo Sikoa had formed a new version of the Bloodline in Reigns' absence, adding Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu, and Tonga Loa and taking out Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso.

Reigns has since been switched to a babyface on WWE's internal roster since SummerSlam and the expectation is his merchandise will do "insane numbers" for the company.
