Ronda Rousey Cast In 'Stars On Mars' Reality Series

Ronda Rousey booked for a new TV show

Ronda Rousey isn't currently on WWE TV due to injury but the former SmackDown Women's Champion will soon be popping up on FOX in the United States.

It has been announced that Rousey is one of 12 celebrities who will star in 'Stars on Mars', which is set to premiere on Monday, June 5. The show is similar to Big Brother and the cast will live together on a "space station" and face "authentic conditions that simulate life on Mars." William Shatner will be the show's host or "Mission Control."

Along with Rousey, 'Stars on Mars' will feature Lance Armstrong, Marshawn Lynch, Adam Rippon, Tinashe, Tom Schwartz, Natasha Leggero, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Ariel Winter, Tallulah Willis, and Porsha Williams.

Rousey hasn't appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 39 due to a knee injury and a broken arm. She worked the Showcase of the Immortals with the injuries but she is not currently cleared for in-ring action. This has caused Rousey's plans to be paused. She was reportedly set to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships with Shayna Baszler.

Rousey was recently drafted to Monday Night Raw, moving from Friday Night SmackDown.
