Ronda Rousey Enjoying Current Run Without WWE SmackDown Women's Title

Ronda Rousey doesn't feel like she 'needs' to be champion

WWE star Ronda Rousey isn't upset at not being SmackDown Women's Champion.

Rousey lost the title to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank when Morgan cashed-in her Money In The Bank briefcase. Rowdy Ronda received a rematch at SummerSlam, but was pinned as the referee missed Liv tapping out.

Since then, Rousey has developed an anti-authority streak and was 'fined' and 'suspended' for her actions. Her 'suspension' was lifted on last week's episode of SmackDown.

Speaking on her most recent gaming stream, the former UFC star was asked whether she sees herself holding the title again in the future.

"Definitely, I guess, but also, I feel like I don't need it. I have been liking my non-title run because Roddy Piper never really needed the titles to make him great. I enjoy not having all my stories be dependent on the title and just having more storylines out there for the women. Everything for the women almost always involves the title and a lot of men have non-title storylines all the time. I'm happy to take some non-title storylines to give more storylines to the women in total. I like it".
