Ronda Rousey Returns On WWE Raw, Immediately Falls Over

Ronda Rousey back on WWE Raw with a tumble

Ronda Rousey was slightly overzealous during her WWE return.

The former SmackDown Women's Champion made her return on the May 15 edition of Monday Night Raw as she attacked Raquel Rodriguez following the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion's win over Chelsea Green. Rousey decked Rodriguez with a kick to the side but it didn't go as planned for the UFC Hall of Famer as she suddenly crashed to the floor after her standing leg gave out from under her.

Rousey quickly got back to her feet and she and Shayna Baszler proceeded to beat down Rodriguez, making it clear they want a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, regardless of Liv Morgan's injury. Rousey and Baszler then ended the segment by promising the beatings will continue until Rodriguez puts the gold on the line.

Rousey and Baszler had been off WWE TV since they won a Showcase Match at WrestleMania 39. Rousey worked the Show of Shows with a broken arm and a knee injury, which caused plans for her and Baszler to be paused.

Rousey was previously on SmackDown but she was moved to Monday Night Raw during the 2023 WWE Draft.
