Ronda Rousey: WWE Need To Realise Shayna Baszler Is One Of The Best Talents On SmackDown
Ronda Rousey thinks WWE need to do more with Shayna Baszler
It’s well known at this point how WWE dropped the ball on various NXT talents, with the misuse of Shayna Baszler being one of the worst falls from grace from the black and gold brand.
It’s seemingly not just fans who want WWE to do more with ‘The Queen of Spades’, as Baszler’s Four Horsewomen team mate Ronda Rousey suggested WWE need to do more with Baszler:
"You're totally right about Shayna being one of the best people on the show, I need them to get their s*** together and realise it,” said Rousey in response to a fan on Rousey’s ‘Baddest Stream on the Planet’.
Baszler has the longest combined NXT Women’s Championship reign in brand history, with 549 days as champ across two reigns. Since being called up to WWE’s main roster in 2020, Baszler has had start/stop pushes, with a strong showing in the 2020 Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, before settling into the Women’s Tag Title scene.
With the WWE regime change it’s hoped that Baszler will finally become a big-time player in WWE’s women’s division, with the first glimpses of this seen at Clash At The Castle when Baszler unsuccessfully challenged SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan.
