Sami Callihan's Future To Be Decided On IMPACT Wrestling

Don Callis and Scott D’Amore have a lot to thrash out

Sami Callihan’s future is set to be decided on this week’s upcoming edition of IMPACT Wrestling on June 17.

Callihan is in deep water after being kayfabe fired at Against All Odds. Callihan made his way to Daily’s Place and attacked AEW and IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega and AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks after Omega defended his titles against Moose at the event.

After Callihan's attack, IMPACT VP Don Callis came out and fired Sami on the spot, leaving Omega with no title challenger at Slammiversary. Now, it seems Callis and IMPACT Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore will clash on IMPACT, with D’Amore increasingly unhappy with Callis’ decision making as of late.

In real life, Callis is no longer a VP of IMPACT, and this angle could lead to the end of him as an on-screen VP too, with Callis believed to be acting solely as Kenny Omega’s manager going forward.

As for Callihan himself, we’ll have to wait and see how his firing pans out, and if he will indeed be sitting Slammiversary out.
