Sami Zayn Makes WWE Return At MSG House Show

Sami Zayn is back in a WWE ring

Sami Zayn has been absent from WWE programming since earlier this month, being written off after an attack from Drew McIntyre following their match on Monday Night RAW. Zayn took some time off TV and live events in the meantime.

Zayn is now back though, appearing at last night’s Madison Square Garden live event where he teamed up with Jey Uso in an unsuccessful effort at The Judgment Day’s (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

On social media, Zayn also announced himself as appearing for a five day stretch of events throughout the WWE Holiday Tour, competing at last night’s MSG event, and then the following shows in Boston, Montreal, Toronto, and Los Angeles between December 26 and 30.

In an now edited X post, Zayn explained his social media absence.

“Haven’t been very active on here [X/Twitter] lately. It’s been a crazy and in some ways difficult time for me, but I’m so grateful to be in such great cities, with such great fans, to end such a remarkable year. This life has been too good to me. Just know I’m very happy to be here with you.” It isn’t known if this will mean an immediate return to RAW for Zayn, but it is likely that he will turn up very soon on TV.
