Sami Zayn "Pitched Hard" To Work With Liv Morgan In WWE

Alas, it wasn't meant to be...

"Liv Forever," the latest WWE Network documentary was released over the weekend and chronicles Liv Morgan's childhood and early WWE career.

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn tweeted that he was suitably impressed with the documentary. Zayn also revealed a "fun fact" and noted he "pitched hard" to work with Morgan after he debuted his Great Liberator gimmick.

The Underdog From The Underground wrote: "Really enjoyed #LivForever on @WWENetwork. Fun fact, when I first started doing "The Great Liberator" I pitched hard to get @YaOnlyLivvOnce with me, but she got drafted to Raw. There is SO much to her. Can't wait to see her one day become Womens Champ."

At the time, Morgan was off WWE TV. It was revealed during the documentary she was going to return in September 2019 in a match against Ember Moon but it was cancelled at the last minute.

Liv ended up returning to TV on the December 30, 2019, episode of Raw during Lana and Bobby Lashley's wedding and she has since reformed The Riott Squad with Ruby Riott.
