Sammy Guevara Misses AEW Dynamite Due To Injury

Sammy Guevara was not cleared for AEW Dynamite

Sammy Guevara missed the fourth anniversary of Dynamite on October 4, with the All Elite Wrestling ‘Pillar’ ruled out of action due to injury.

Guevara wrestled at WrestleDream on October 1 and was set to team with Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita to take on Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega on Dynamite, but was pulled and replaced with Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher instead.

Don Callis announced during a backstage interview with Renee Paquette on Dynamite that Guevara had not been cleared by AEW’s medical team before revealing that Fletcher would be taking his spot in the match, on the advice of Will Ospreay. It has not been revealed what injury Guevara is dealing with, nor how long ‘The Spanish God’ is set to be out of action.

When Guevara returns he will no doubt be buoyed by the fact the Callis Family has a new member, with Powerhouse Hobbs joining the group and steamrolling Omega and Jericho, leading The Family on a brutal assault of the two.
