Samoa Joe Presented With New ROH World Television Title

Samoa Joe has new ROH gold around his waist

Samoa Joe has a new ROH World Television Championship belt.

To open the June 22 episode of ROH TV on HonorClub, footage from the June 17 edition of AEW Collision was shown of Samoa Joe stood backstage with ROH Chairman Tony Khan and Board of Directors Jerry Lynn and Stokely Hathaway.

Jerry Lynn had a new ROH World Television Title belt in his grasp and he gifted the title to Samoa Joe, at which point the champion threatened Tony Khan by saying he would break "his boy's face" later in the evening. Joe teamed with Bullet Club Gold in the main event of Collision, failing to defeat CM Punk and FTR in the Second City Saint's return match.

The new ROH World Television Title belt is similar to the other ROH titles that have been introduced in 2023. Ring of Honor have introduced new world, Pure, and tag team titles over the past few months.

Samoa Joe has been ROH World Television Champion for over a year since he defeated Minoru Suzuki for the gold on the April 13, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite.
