Samoa Joe is the new Ring of Honor World TV Champion after defeating Minoru Suzuki on the April 14 edition of AEW: Dynamite.

‘The Samoan Submission Machine’ and ‘The King of Pancrase’ had an hellacious bout in Dynamite’s main event, dishing out a ton of stiff strikes and knife edge chops. Suzuki went for the Gotch Style Piledriver but was unable to hoist Joe up, with Joe eventually turning things round and hitting a big Muscle Buster for the win and the title.

The TV Title stands as the first ROH title Samoa Joe has won in 17 years, since his PURE Championship win in 2005. With this win, Joe just needs the ROH World Tag team Titles to become a ROH Grand Slam Champion, with his first ever TV Title going alongside his runs with the ROH World Title and ROH PURE Title.

The only person in Ring Of Honor history to have held all men’s division titles is Joe’s former protege and current rival Jay Lethal, who watched the match from ringside before unleashing a debuting Satnam Singh on Joe.
